The best chefs can whip up a meal with ingredients on hand. Solution design has a lot in common with Iron Chef, in that you seldom get to choose your ingredients. The ERP won’t be exactly the right version with all modules implemented, the network will be weak for some user locations, training schedules can be difficult, priorities won’t align, existing software and interfaces will need work to connect, data will be incomplete, and skills may need polished. We have experience with over 80 companies in our careers, and know that nothing is ever perfect.
